The BUDS came to be because our love of gardening and the appreciation for preserving and beautifying green space in the community we call home - whether it be a park or a pot.
Our “Founder’s Meeting” was held on March 20, 2019 at Sinistral Brewing. Our next meeting was open to anyone who was interested and was on April 3, 2019. It was attended by 12 people. Since then, at our monthly meetings, the club members decided on a name “BUDS N’ ROSES, logo, mission statement, what type of organization, community projects which is where we are today. We hold our meetings on the first Wednesday of the month and try to meet at a member’s garden if possible. We do have a Master Gardener as a member.

The BUDS adopted a street – section of Center Street in front of the Sports Pub. Several members are very diligent in keeping our street free of trash and cigarette butts.
